LOOKING FOR HELP IDENTIFYING SEXTON DESCENDANTS ...

GRAVE OF CATHERINE CANE SEXTON 1796 - 1871

DNA FIND
- I share DNA with this Sexton Family.

Catherine Cane Wife of Michael Sexton Died Feb 18th 1871 Ages 75 years Native of County Clare, Ireland
Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Watertown, Carver County, Minnesota, USA
I would believe this Sexton Family is from Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish.
Sons, Thomas Sexton b 1819 & John Sexton b 1821 immigrated in 1846.

DNA CONNECTION

Ancestry DNA - Match between Coleen O'Brien of Buffalo, NY and Teresa Sexton of Dublin, Ireland.  They both have a 22 centimorgan match across one DNA segment.

MARRIAGE OF PATRICK COHEN &
CATHERINE SEXTON
Sexton Marriage Record:

Catherine Sexton b 1832 married Patrick Cohen on the 27 Jul 1852 in Montreal Canada.  There is a family tree on Ancestry that has Catherine listed as being from Clounadrum, Kilmurry-Ibrickane Parish.  I haven't found out how this was documented.
Cohen family settled in Finlay, Hancock, Ohio where Catherine Sexton Cohen died in 1910.
Catherine Sexton's parents were Patrick Sexton and Bridget Sexton.
Any connections??
