  1. Well I am trying to find my grand father Patrick Sexton who joined the 25th regiment of foot later to become the KOSBIES, in Limerick on 27 April 1836 aged 19 years. I cannot find anything more!!! Patrick Sexton on the Gold Coast Australia.

  2. Further info on Patrick Sexton he married Margaret Quigley in Liverpool on the 13th Feb 1855 and she died in India in 1881 so I presume he was transferred at some time to India. I believe they had a large family only know of son John born 23 Nov 1865 in Salford Lancashire, England. He also died in India aged 50 of Dysentry. My father Joseph Anthony was one of his children of which there were 10.
